The PTO is looking for someone to shadow our current President for the 2016/17 school year!  Please see President Stacy Wotherspoon's letter below.  A complete job description can be found at the end of the letter.

Hello Everyone,

After serving as President of the Richmond Elementary PTO for five years, I would like to announce that next year will be my last. I have had three sons attend Richmond Elementary: Brine is a sophomore in high school, Rogan is in 7th grade, and Cooper is in 3rd grade, Being a part of the PTO for the last ten years has been wonderful. I was a parent volunteer for three years before accepting a board position as Vice President. I served as Vice President for two years and then transitioned into my current role as President. By the end of next year, I will have been President for five years. It has truly been a rewarding experience in so many ways. Our PTO works so hard to do as much as we can for our students, families, teachers, and faculty. It will be a bittersweet moment for me at next year's 4th grade farewell. It will be sweet as I look forward to my youngest son moving on to the Middle School, with all of the new and exciting experiences that transition holds, but also bitter in that I will truly miss all of the parents, volunteers, teachers, faculty, students, and members of the PTO Board. In my time volunteering with the PTO, I have met and worked closely with so many amazing people, many of whom I am lucky enough to call my friends.

We are looking for someone who is interested in shadowing me all of next year to learn the duties and responsibilities of the PTO President. Please email me at tspoon7939@yahoo.com if interested. There is a complete description of the President's duties below.

Thank you for all of the wonderful memories,

Stacy Wotherspoon
Richmond PTO President
